yes...limp hand shakers have weak personalities....look at the walk of a person....you can tell the mood the person is in...i don't know if the walk is indicative of the nature of a person other than i have read that when walking with toes outturned the person is an extrovert and the toes inturned the person is an introvert..a slow moving person may have alot on his mind or nothing at all on his mind ...a fast walking person may be a highly energetic person, one in a hurry, a happy person....an impatient person...hard to tell without other body and facial language and while sitting you can tell if the person is patient, waiting, impatient...feet wiggling? hands crossed in front? (which could mean that the person is cold or wanting to be alone)..where he sits...in the center seat...means he doesn't want anyone sitting next to him and wants his space, or on one side....so many factors go into reading the sitting and walking body language besides just the actual sitting and walking....how the shoulders are held..the head is held...the arms' movement or nonmovement...it's a total picture...hope this helps

No. It might be possible, but I wouldn't rely on these cues too much when making such important judgments.

How valid and reliable would these be? What if the person has had a bad day? What if he has spinal injuries? What if he is trying to fake it, seem confident and strong and happy and together, when he isn't really? What if he has blisters on his hands or sores on his feet? What if in his culture, they don't shake hands, or teach them to sit or walk in a certain way?

You can predict the nature of a person from many signs.

Handshaking is misleading because most people you meet are very aware that they should provide an energic handshake to appear nice.

A much better indicator is face, and eyes. They really talk to you and tell lots of things their owner wouldn't like to tell you. I rarely make mistakes with faces.

it can be. If a person sits facing towards you, or walks openly towards people, then this can mean that the person is very open and confident, however, if a person sits sideways towards a person or crosses legs, then this can mean that they are a very private and/or shy person. With the hand shake, if a person shakes your hand hard or fast, this can mean that the person, is abrupt and overpowering, if they shake it gently and slowly, it can mean that they are gentle, patient and attentive.

PREDICT? NO, But when you meet a person for the first tiime, if they aren't busy meeting a bunch of other people at the same time, then they will let you know with thier gestures what they are about. If you are referring to a 'social' party, then they are way more interested in what YOU are about. If you are referring to 'gay' or 'not gay', then you just have to go with your own feelings on that. Gay guys flirt, just like girls do, I respect them because they aren't sneaky about it. Others, beware of. Ron
