hi - i deal with furniture - even make it - most of the chinese furniture is made with MDF(medium density fibre) boards and prelaminated particle boards. Now this is ok if the furniture is stationary and you dont move it around too much like computer / study tables or even TV/Entertainment units. If you are planning to buy cots or wardrobes made of the same then i would say it isn't a wise investment as these are something that take a lot of weight and the wardrobe has to opened/closed a lot of times during the day and this will most definitely make the joints loose over a short period of time...

It is worth it if you can afford to buy again in a year. Why not pay a little extra, and get something that should last you a lifetime. Even buying second-hand and doing stuff up is better than wasting your money on something with so short a life span.

Unless you're a millionaire of course.

PLEASE DONOT THINK THAT ALL THE FURNITURE ARE OF SAME QUALITY I THINK THERE MUST BE SOME LITTLE COSTLY FURNITURE HAVING LONG LIFE, RESEARCH ON THE TOPIC & THEN TAKE A SUITABLE ACTION
