To tell the truth, no one in this world will be really happy to share their partner with other. Polygamy? Yes, it's normal in all of Islamic countries and certain non Islamic countries. Even siblings are not so happy when being ask to share their stuffs together. You are another good example, you also can't accept this kind of practise or believe but sometimes when it come to survival, people will do whatever is needed to keep alive. This include share their partner with others.

I was marry to a Muslim man. Them, according to their believes can have even 4 wives. But YES, THEY DO GET JEALOUS. He never had another one while marry with me. I told him if he do so. i will leave him in the spot. But i heard about other woman marry to a man with several wives, and yes, they were jealous. And usually, woman who accept this situation is cz they don't have choices. Like in some middle east countries, there are so many woman and a few man, so they prefer to get married, in order to be *respected woman*, even sharing the man with another 3 woman, instead of be single, with no kids, and no man to take care of them. Is different culture, different beliefs and they were raised in that environment, So is kinda normal for them.

They are usually raised in a household where that is common place. You would be surprised what a person can become used to especially after long periods of exposure. Some of these women occupy there time with being friends and lovers to each other.

It's a different mind set. They become more communal and the women look upon each other more as sisters and helpmates.

its dam hard..even on the woman to..can you imagine being married to a guy and he tells you sorry im going to take another wife..she would feel she has failed as a woman and a wife. i was engaged to a guy for 3 years i love the *** of him i did every thing to make us have a life. visited him in his country, he came to my country. i waited 3 years for him to make me his wife. then i found out he already had one..i could of been his 2nd wife.. i had a choice..i would not have doubted his love for me..but i messed up because i could not live with the thought he had love for another woman as well as me. and it must of been hard on him to hiding all this for 3 years with out a word to me..so i guess it can work both ways..and im finding it hard to deal with it..i got to move on even though i dont want to but right now i dont have choices.
