Big difference between the great Thomas Jefferson and Mr. Bush! Every American has the right to voice their opinion regarding the government and its administration.....this has nothing to do with being a Patriot! Typical "Bush", of course what else when you have an IQ a little higher than a Gorilla!

Even if Thomas Jefferson and other Founders didn't believe that (which they definitely did, otherwise there would be no United States), questioning you government should be a natural thing. All people do it at one level or another.

If we aren't allowed to, then we fall to the level of all the oppressed countries we are against. It's the only thing standing in our way from us becoming our OWN worst enemy.

What?! Questioning our government's actions as "unpatriotic?!" Let me say it like this: we, as Americans, have the unalienable right to question and criticize the actions of the government and our leaders! That's the philosophy of the great statesman Thomas Jefferson. It seems that President Bush wants to silence this to "protect the integrity of the government and the good name of himself and other politicians." Well who the hell cares? I do, and so should the rest of you out there. This is another fine example of Bush trampling on our constitutional rights in this very dangerous post-9/11 world. Maybe Bush needs to read up on his history by going back to high school and read up on the democratic wisdom of Thomas Jefferson, one of the fathers of American democracy. That way, he ought to get the message through is thick-headed, tyranny-crazed, ignorant head. That will teach him a very valuable lesson!

My own feeling is that Bush wants to be a total dictator. He wants to push his own interests and ideals above those of the American people. He wants total power without having to answer to the people for his actions. He sees himself as being God of America and in a position of divine. Do not question God and do not question Bush in his viewpoint. A president that is above answering for his decisions and that has total authority is not a president. He is a dictator. He has done more to split and divide this country than the American Civil War. I hope America can survive Bush. Is it true the Republicants want him declared king? Am sure Thomas Jefferson had this in mind as a forefather.

Think about it: Who has the power to tell you what to accept or not. That is a freedom given to every person born on this planet. The fact that I can't question my own government smells like oppression.

If he said that, the answer would be self evident, that is our most primary and fundamental right and claim to being a free nation, the right to question government, if you don't you are unpatriotic,
And I'll answer the question just the same, ...to establish a dictatorship in the USA

Bush is trying to fight a war against terrorists, and asking certain questions as to how the military is getting information puts not only our military, but the lives of all of us at risk. Certain information must be kept secret.

Let me do an analogy. Nobody is going to come into where I work and tell me how to do my job. You cannot tell me how to do my job because I have mastered it, and I can prove it because it is documented. Whether or not you believe that is a personal problem.

Because he is either an idiot that doesnt understand what patriotism means, or a dictator. Or maybe both.
