pepper pot, well said. And we can see the consequence of having secular/canon laws when we look at the standards in those middle eastern countries.
Unfortunately people like the ideal from both worlds, but never stop to think their are still going to be consequences to their actions. E.g. Australia wants to have america's infrastructure system (e.g. 10 lanes roads each way, instead of our main road has no more than 3 lanes each way, and only for very short sections), but will not pay for it as they think the money is better spent on people who'll use it for drugs/petrol. In your case the example would be as above (their is no mention of a secular law of sex with infants)

When God created Adam and Eve, there was no sin then (single man and single woman). The world was beautifully created, no thought of sex, immorality, etc. But we were made to understand that when the first man and woman trespassed, they were ashamed of themselves and they (Adam and Eve) knew that they were naked and they were ashamed of themselves. Now, think of it, with the present situation of things in the world today, on your going out of your house, seeing men - young and old, women - young and old, going about naked, how will you feel? Mind you, from the beginning, there was nothing like shame.

Because the laws are not based on Christianity.....

After all it doesn't explicitly say in the Bible that we shouldn't have sex with babies, so according to your rules we should now make that legal. I think your question needs more thought.

If you want laws that follow a faith, I suggest you convert to Islam and go and live in one of the Arab state countries.

Did you not read further to the place the Bible said; when they heard the voice of God they hid themselves, and when God asked them why the they are hiding, they said because they were naked, and God said to them, have you eaten the fruit I said you should not eat.

So because you know that you are naked, that is why you wear clothes. You should have asked why cant everybody have sex with anybody he/she likes, at any time, and any where.

After the original sin it says Adam and Eve became ashamed of their nakedness and covered themselves up. Anyway, it does not prescribe nakedness or otherwise as a requirement.

I live in Wisconsin - do YOU want to go naked here in January?

Its not legal because the Bible does not rule modern law. It also says its OK to stone your unruly children to death as a form of discipline in the Bible, and that is DEFINITELY NOT OK!!!

Because, thank goodness, our laws are not based on bronze-age fables! Otherwise, we would have to try and comply with the self-contradictory mess of psychotic garbage that constitutes most of the testament!
