Usually the smaller type motorcycles, like you'll hear a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 referred to as a 'chick bike'. Or any bike that has a lower cubic inches or cubic centimetres (depending on where you live). That's just people's stereo typing though, if you're a guy then there's nothing wrong with starting out on a smaller bike or just having a smaller bike to have cheap transportation to get around in town. If you are very interested and planning to ride a lot and travel on the highway then you'll want a little bit bigger of a bike. Smaller ones are not as snappy when you're at highway speed and want to pass or just want to get up and go.
