I personally can accept it provided I know that he does not have a change of heart.
But, he says leaving me has nothing to do with it. They are both separate issues. How can one draw a line between these so clearly. Anyone out there can accept these?

What do you mean? If Dude doesn't want to be with you, he doens't want to be with you. End of story. Move on.

There's a clear line if they make it clear. If they still want you even a little they will let certain things go. My ex and I have been fighting and I don't really know why. Today though he told me how he felt and that he can't even be my friend. This is the only thing I don't understand. We were just such close friends for so long, breakup or none at all, I never thought he would push me away like he did every one else in his life. I hope you can talk to him and understand better your differences, or what ever you are looking for. Good luck.

I can accept it ,if I done nothing wrong in this relationship; not having sexual relationship. Otherwise, I'll like you cannot accept it and answer what I have done wrong during the relationship. Give sex and body to him, now just tell me off, how can ? This is hit and run type of accident.

Yes. You can't force someone to feel something for you. At least he was man enough to tell you the truth. Although it hurts, accept the truth and move on with your life.

I'm not sure I understand your question. But if he doesn't want to be with you anymore it's his loss so move on. If you have to force someone to be with you then you would be miserable. Don't use a guilt trip on him or try to even understand why. Realize when someone wants to walk away then it's best you let go. You may never understand why but you will find peace with in yourself knowing you are free to find someone who really wants to be with you.

he's a gentleman to let you know this than dragging the relationship and wasting everyone's time. especially a lady's.

feelings he's decribing is as in a relationship. he may still be concerned for your welfare and health like and thats why he's telling you this.

he's asking for a "clean " break and remaining as friends.

its part and parcel of such relationship? take it and move on as you've more in store for you or us?

it happens with someone honey! that one day you'll wake up and find out that you don't love him or her anymore! it's hard to accept and it's hard to explain but it does happen. at first you cannot accept it but time heals all the wounds!
