I can't the difference between, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, but I can tell a Filipino, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian and Loasian from Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. How do you all Asians see the Malay Asians, and you Malay Asians how do you think of others?

In America, all Asians are in the same boat. I'm Chinese and if I see a Malay person, I think nothing of it. White people say they can't tell us apart anyways. So you are like me. Welcome to the club.

I don't have any Malaysian friends but had met a few. Malaysian people are more similar in looks to Chinese people than to Lao or Thai people.
I think of Malaysian in Malaysia as smart and well rounded. Malaysian schools are very high in its standards of academics and curriculum. A lot of Malaysians speak up 4 languages or more.
As for their culture and old customs, I have yet to learn.

I was riding my bike in the neighborhood, I didn't own a car at the time, I saw these people putting there things in one of those p.o.d. trailers[.they were moveing], , in there driveway, I had the time, and had spoken to them before so I asked if they needed any help packing there furniture in the P.O.D.they were from the Philippians he offered me a very nice used car he had just had the engine rebuilt I took it, I appreciated that very much, in my home town a friend is the head buddist, hes a little white guy, all the rest are chinese, just a story, doesnt have a thing to do with your question, I know that,

they are very beautiful............and all different just like any one else........ I 've learned the tendencies of difference but it doesn't always work that way for instance when asked to tell the difference between a northern Italian and an Englishman I fail completely till of course they speak that's usually a give away.
I usually just think of them as people!
