Human being evolves to become myopic or short sighted from hypermetropic or long sighted lower animals Humans have the widest field of vision..Thus humans learn a lot by reading letters and viewing pictures.Human ear perceives sounds ,the distance whence they come, the pitch they relay and the wave form or individual specificity. Widest range of wave lengths, frequencies are perceived and stereo sound is interpreted. This is total evolution from animals which do not recognise variations in modalities of sounds. Humans gradually lost acuity of odor which is markedly pronounced in lower animals.. What humans perceive by sound and taste is perceived and understood by odor in lower animals. Taste is well developed in humans. Lower animals recognise much less of a taste as they have limited choice of foods. Human skin is very sensitive. In fact it is so sensitive that many foreign substances elicit a reaction that forces them to keep away from some items touching the skin. Lower animals have thick skins and so allergy and hypersensitivity reactions almost do not exist. Pain perception is less in thick skinned animals
Evan Pavlov`s theory of conditioned reflexes is used to study sensory aspects of lower animals
