OMG my best friend is a truck driver and he says the same thing that everyone should have to take a CDL class and lean about how semi's operate and just how hard it is for them to stop and get out of the way of people who are acting lik morons on the road . I talk to him on the phone all the time and someone is forever pulling out in front of him or not merging onto the highway right or something stupid like that . I for one have a new respect for truck drivers ever since he has started driving truck. I actually road with him once and it amazed me how stupid some drivers can be when it came to pulling out in front of him and things like that

I'm with ya there, but to be fair I'd substitute the word "ignorant" with "stupid". Ignorant is simply another way of saying uninformed or unaware of. That aside, I'm in FULL heartfelt agreement!!!! No clue that what the trucker was doing was in response to something happening 1mile down the road, and that he DESPERATELY needed to move this or that way to prepare for something I'd not even seen yet. Or that by paceing alongside the trailer, I was forcing the truck to stay in a lane that was going to connect him with an object like: police car, merging traffic, etc. A 4wheeler is generally totally oblivious to what goes on around him, unless it effects his car directly. A little education would go along way......
