Of the three you mentioned John McCain is easily the best choice, however both Rudolph Giuliani, and my personal choice Newt Gingrich are even better ones. I favor Gingrich because the simple truth is that of all the politicians who deserve credit for the surpluses from 1998-2001 (and yes Bill Clinton is on that list) Gingrich is the clearly the most responsible for that occurrence.
The others on that list include John Kasich, Ross Perot, Robert Livingston and Bill Clinton.

Former V.P. Gore or Senator Clinton.
I wouldn't have a problem voting for John McCain if the Democrat wasn't great and if the Republican Party booted him out and he ran as an Independent (which just may happen.)
If you can't have a Democrat, I'd want to have someone who p*sses the Republicans off.

John McCain.
Senator McCain is the only conservative on your list and there are other conservatives I prefer but he is good too.
Senator McCain has answered completely letters I have written to him of personal concerns I have had, I was a victim of a past crime and have certain privacy issues with public access of personal information. He or his office fully followed up on the letters and gave me a second letter with helpful advice. Senator John Kyl has also responded but not as fully. OUr governor a democrat never responded at all, probably because I am not of her party, but my letter did not state anything about politics or my party.
Also I have met John McCain at a Republican rally in 04

If those were my only three choices, I would pick Al gore, definitely.
If I could have my ideal president, it would be Dennis Kucinich, the congressman from Cleveland, Ohio who ran for president in 2004.

If we only have the three. John, McCain. He is the most honest one and having served in the military I think he would make some decent changes.

Might as well vote for a woman in my first presidential election.

John McCain, he is the only honest one in the group you have assembled. Al Gore is to weak. He has no backbone, we are in tough times, he's not the one.
And Hillary, that's scary, it could happen I suppose. All the rest of us would be able to do was say we told you so. Just like her husband, she is a liar. She is a cheat. She is hungry for the title, not to help the middle, lower middle class. But her husband is da hoe. Egotistical maniacs the both of them.

Doctor Phil -he can solve every ones problems. But since he wasn't one of the choices I would have to go with McCain, he is not very bright but he is honest and wants what is best for our nation.
