"Aaron Russo is an American entertainment businessman, film maker, Libertarian political figure, and tax protester. During his career in the entertainment industry, Russo was manager for Bette Midler from 1972 to 1979 and The Manhattan Transfer, and the producer of the films The Rose and Trading Places. He also produced Wise Guys. Russo has personally won both an Emmy and a Tony award and his films have also won a number of Golden Globe awards."

The trailer looks pretty scary! My guess is that he, like Oliver Stone, is exaggerating the threat, at least a little, but we probably need guys like that to keep us on our toes so that we don't have to deal with those things becoming (any more) real.

I recognize several of the people in the film. For example Ron Paul is the only Republican who voted against a 1998 Congressional resolution authorizing the President to use whatever is needed to deal with Iraq. (Five Democrats voted against the measure as well) He is also one of the few Republicans to vote against a 1998 resolution which called for regime change in Iraq. President Clinton signed both of these measures into law. I have read several of G. Edward Griffin's books as well.
