no need to worry. especially not at this point. ((hugs))
Sometimes it takes someone longer to regulate and also there are times when someone just doesn't for a while due to body type or activities or other factors. Either way, neither is a reason for worry.
If you are still concerned though, and/or your body doesn't regulate soon you can always go to your mom or a doctor for more information if you would like to. They might even be able to answer any other questions you might have during this time as when us girls first hit this stage in our lives a lot ends up changing. So never be afraid to ask your questions. :)

Some women have very long cycles. 28 days is just the adverage. You might start getting more periods or this could be your bodies natural cycle length. If you are very worried, talk to your mom or a doctor. Sometimes younger girls like to go on 'the pill' (hormonal birth control) because it will regulate their cycle and they'll never have to wonder when the next one is also you can skip periods that way. Yay!

Hi hun, for the first year your period will be all over the place, your body is trying to regulate, but if this goes on for to long it may be best to see a gynegoligist to make sure there is nothing wrong, and to ease your own mind, hope this helps and good luck

It's normal. You're not pregnant, so don't worry. I can't promise whether it'll get regular in the future but it's not something to worry about. It has something to do with hormonal balances and if you're still not regular for a few years, maybe can go for a gynaecology checkup and maybe the doctor will prescribe you with some hormonal pills. Many doctors prefer not giving away pills because they have many unwanted side effects. Gaining weight is one of them. Not to worry, dear. You're not the only one and it is not something to worry about. The only layback is you'll get pregnant harder than those who have regular periods. Hope this helps.

Go and see a doctor. It takes 1-2-3 years for your menstrual periods to be regular. I once skipped 3 months.

i had the thing happen. it'll take a while for your body to get regulated, and then it may come like clockwork - every 28 days. you'll be fine, don't worry.
