that's 22 lbs. right? that's alot. Don't start eating cake and ice cream, because that will add fat to your physique and make you flabby. Try protein bars and coltrane(?) bars and stuff like that. Work out alot to get toned muscles and make sure what you eat has calories, but good calories. Stuff that's high in minerals and eat vegetables, make sure you're getting all your vitamins, and then stop at a healthy weight. GOOD LUCK!

Why are you so concerned? BMI calculators are just the adverage. If you believe that you have a medical condition or medical risk because of your weight, you need to see a doctor. I've always been 'underweight' according to national adverages but, let's face it America is a fat country. My doctor says I'm healthy as long as I'm eating enough.

Well don't purge and eat a whole bunch of junk food thats for sure!! Try eating foods with high calories, but are still good for you and also try lifting weights. You will build muscle by doing this and thus gain some weight.

My girlfriend was very very skinny when she went off to College. I saw her about six months later and she'd filled out beautifully. She told me it was because she started drinking whole milk. I mean the real thing, with cream and everything in it. She looked great! Good luck.
