Games like Avalanche, that used to be free are now, "Click here to download for $19.99" I don't like that and I won't do it. I hope others feel the same way. Shame on Yahoo for cashing in on the internet revolution and forgetting about people who can't afford to keep up.

Because, amazing as this sounds, Yahoo is not a charity organization. They are a business, and as such have to make money to continue to exist. Yes, it sucks when your favorite free game isn't free anymore, but that's life. People have gotten spoiled by the ammount of free stuff on the internet and have forgotten that this is not a natural state. With the collapse of most online advertising revenue models, corporations must now turn to the consumer to get funds. I hope that most people will pay for downloads of good games, that way the companies have an incentive to keep creating more.
