Gatchaman was created in Japan in the early 70's. During the late 70's and early 80's it was release in the United States as Battle of the Planets and G-Force. And I do believe they were the originator of the Sentai concept, which included the Power Rangers.

Mark..the leader
Jason..the "bad boy" rebel
Princess...the token beautiful girl Mark and Jason were into
Tiny..the mechanical genius /pilot and mainly comic relief
Keeop..the token annoying as hell child

I remember them. They all had bird themed-costumes. The leader was an eagle, the fat guy was an owl, the little kid was a duck, the girl was a swan and the fifth guy was a vulture or something.

I remember once having a dream that it was going to be made into a live action movie starting Jet Li and Cho Yun Fat. If only it were true.

yep. first anime i ever watched: the wallflower. Watched it maximum of tmes i could quote it. yet issues like bleach and naruto i will never wait some years to forget....it's going to take me like a 12 months to observe the entire damned concern whilst it ultimately ENDS
