The time is a unit of measure that determines a "snapshot" of a particular event in space. The most common device used to measure time is a clock which breaks an Earth day into 24 hours. A calendar also measures time on a larger scale by organizing Earth years into 365 days.

What is the time? What is the time!? You could ask anything you like, anything at all, and you ask the time? Very well. =P
It's 12:36 am on the West coast of the US. I've linked a time zone chart below that will provide the current official atomic US time, as well as a link to an atomic clock program that will keep your computer's time atomicly in sync, because if you feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day, ahhh, but if you teach him to fish, you've fed him for his life.
Ask and you shall receive... May you always know the time, young Jedi knight.

The time is the number of hours and minutes after twelve midnight in your current timezone. The world time is governed by an atomic clock in Greenwich, England. All world time zones are spread out throughout the world from that one point, until they meet in the Pacific Ocean at what is known as the International Dateline. I hope this accurately answers your question.

Like I've just said to somebody else, it's time for all the UK kiddy-winkies to come on line and block the system with loads silly questions and yeps, nopes and don't-knows as answers so that they can boast how many points they got today when they go to school tomorrow.
