Democrats favor higher taxes and limit on gun ownership. And believe in larger goverment over the citizens to enfore these taxes .

Republicans favor restriction on citizens based on tradition and conventional 'morals'. They also have a higher propensity to favor unquestioned authority and to label dissent as disloyalty .

Personally I feel that the worst thing that can happen to this nation in the next election is to vote republican or democrat, Those are the only wasted votes.

You should vote for the person or party affiliation that best represents your political and social beliefs. There are not only two political parties, despite the popularity of Democrats and Republicans. I am a registered 'Independent' who tends to vote Libertarian. I believe in freedom, small government, individual rights, free speech and the right to bear arms. There are others like the Green party, Family Values, Constitutional, etc... I have included a website that lists the '3rd' Parties.

I have lost faith in Republicans for now. No insult to all possible future Republican leaders, but in 2008 i am voting Democrat most likely.

At the moment I'd lean toward the Republicans. At least they are trying to stop the terrorists.

The Democrates are aiding and abeting them.

Nothing in politics is honest. You just try your best to sift the wheat from the chaff.

I'd rather be poor than voiceless.

I'd pick Democrats any day. That's why I AM one!

By the way, HOW are the Democrats aiding terrorists?

I'll still vote Republican. I don't seem to recall anyone who went to jail for speaking their mind and my personal life is still free from the government.
