The ocean is warmer at night than the air is because of the high specific heat of water. It takes a lot of heat transfer to change the temperature of water, which is also why water is cooler than the air during the day. Water changes its temperature very slowly from day to night and from season to season. In fact, that property of water, along with the abundance of water on Earth, is an important factor in maintaining relatively stable temperatures on Earth.

because the water has a larger therm capability than soil or rock. so the ocean's temprature downs a little but the bank does a lot at night. thus the ocean is warm at night.

Well, I live in San Francisco, so the ocean is ice cold at all times of the day...
But anyway, it has to do with physics/chemistry. Basically, water holds temperature better than air, so it takes a while to warm up, and takes a while to cool down.

Water has greater heat capacity, it warms up slowly and retains its heat much longer than the air and land. But this doesn t mean that water gets warmer at night. Yes it feels relatively warmer compared to air and land, because they loose their heat faster than water but water doesn t warm up. It may stay 25 degrees but wont rise to 26.

Water capacity is high therefore heat is retained compared to land. Some sort of land-sea breeze thing.
