Spray the bottom of the dust mop with pledge furniture polish, it works great and keeps the dust from getting stired up.

I use Endust on mine. But let it dry first before using mop. Also, it could make floors very slippery. Or just wet the mop and wring it out as much as you can and just 'damp mop.'

They do if you don't know how to use them. They also sell sprays to make dust stick to dust mops.

If you rinse them out often and change the water in the bucket when it's dirty, plain old fashion mops work great.

Depends what they are made of. I suggest getting a swiffer and then buying the reusable/washable cloths instead of the disposable ones.

They work really good till they get dirty. Try putting a little water on it it will pick more stuff up.

If you don't clean them regularly they do. Otherwise, they work just fine.
