Yeah I'm also young and sometimes have the same problems. I am a little more carefull now, I usually wear a panty liner and a super tampon on my heavy days " just to be safe". To remove the staines i soak them in cold water, then i spray shout on them and scrub really hard. If they have been sitting for awhile before you got around to treating them, then just let them sit in the hamper for a day or so then wash them. I usually use oxy clean powder with every load.

ok, so you have accidents starting your period with out your knowledge?, or are you are having problems remembering to keep up with your cleaniness of the issue. You are young, where is your mom? Well don't worry about it, go to Wal-Mart or drug store & buy you some thin sanitary napkins to wear as you wear a tampex. Your mom,a sister, grandmother or auntie would be glad to help you. Don't be ashamed to ask, ok? This is a problem for many young girls, and trust me, allot of them have had accidents too. Wear a watch, time yourself every 11/2 to 2 hrs to check on the problem, and you will learn when & how to correct the problem. If you don't feel right to ask a friend of family member, ask the counselor at school or the nurse. Your not alone, just ask, Ok?

OK if you get your period regularly like every month what you need to do is start keeping track of when you start your period, which should be every 28 to 30 days. Example let's say you start your period Sep 23 and you last however many you days you have your period like 3,5,or 7. Just start counting either from the day you started your period or after you end your period on your calendar. Plus if you're not sure when you're period will start try to always carry a pad with you like in your backpack or purse. You'll get the hang of it, don't worry!

I suggest trying Playtex Slimfits. They are specially designed for young girls and are very small so insertion is very easy. As a back up (so you dont stain your undies! always a plus) I would get some Always panty liners in Longs! They make special ones for plus size girls (just incase!) that cover more of the "bigger" undies! Any how I know I myself have used this method for ever and both my siblings and many of my women friends. Works liek a charm. Now .. if you seem to bleed through your tampon onto the liner (alot) then move up to Playtex regulars they hold more and just keep going up from there if you need more.
Remember tampons only last upto 8hrs DO not go over 8hrs or you may get TSS (Toxic Schock Syndrome-Google it if u like) but its not a good thing! I love tampons they give you the freedom of not wearing a diaper like pad (the pantyliners are so thin they feel like ur undies) plus you can swim in them, shower in them, run easier ect! All without worring about leaks!
Good Luck! And welcome to Woman Hood!

wear nicky liners when off our periods and on your periods get pads with wings and change in the morning and first break also second break and after school and just before a shower and also before you go to bed and bye or wear black underwear that way you dont know if theres a stain or not the black hides it i would not advise you to use a tampone if you use tampons for the first time it will brake your virginity and it will hurt like buggery this is why i said i think you should use it(pads) and get bumwipes to clean yourself just incase you have a leak on your leg i would also advise you to take a spare set of clothes with you just incase of a accident if it stains sook your clothes and always make sure you have four pads in our bag or locker and periods come every 21 or 28 days and mark them on the calendar

You will get use to it. Takes time. And I agree it is a pain. Lets say it together ITS A PAIN GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I would give my right arm to make it go away and I am sure all gals would agree. But we ajust and you will too. You may need something thicker so your not leaking. Tampons cause leaks in heavier flows. Try pads. If you have an older sister, cousin or your mom even, then they should be able to help you purchase something that works for you. Good luck.

you should buy some pantiliners that you should wear whenever you are OFF your period so that way there will be a much less leakage or none at all. I know, it hurts alot, but you get used to it after a while. Midol works well with the pain so you should probably get some. Also a heating pad thingy will make your tummy feel better [:
hope this helped =D

First, consider yourself lucky because my periods are so painful, I can hear them coming down the street. Second, can you use tampons? If so keep those with you. Probably best to mark your calendar so that you know when to expect it. Also I got a plastic tampon holder for my purse so that the tampons don't get out of their wrappers.

tell your grandmother which you're on your era and which you decide on factors. She might have some stuff mendacity around; i be attentive to my grandmother used to have tampons crammed into her bathing room cabinets. whether she does not have something, i'm effective she'd be happy to run to the save for you. If no longer, make a non everlasting pad with rest room paper and/ or tissues.

well i get a little paranoid when im on my period so i wear a tampon with a regular pad just in case. by doing this, i feel i have double protection against leaks. pads make me feel paranoid all the time and tampons solve this since i cant feel anything with one on!
