As people have stated, yes your number will appear, and yes you can block it.
The name of the caller varies, though. From what I know, it shows up as the person whose name the bill is under. The your cell phone is under someone else's name, that person's name will show up.
Occasionally, even if you dial someone with the same area code, the name will appear as "out of area." The number will still appear, though. I'm noto sure what causes that...

Normally it should show the name and #. Some networks don't pass on the caller ID info or they lose it between networks.

yes.... like the phone i have it shows my name but my friend phone shows unknown name... if you don't want your number to show just dial *67 1st and it wont show

When I call someone on mine it shows(not available) I don't have it blocked,maybe some are different.
