I understand going into Afghanistan to get bin Laden. He caused a terrible and horrific crime that will be remembered for years to come. However, I do not believe in the Iraqi war. bush went in for personal reasons, and that is all he went into Iraq for...

There is a peace that can only be found on the other side of war. I think ww2 was a necessary war. All of the people who were freed from concentration camps.....dictators cannot be allowed to ever eradicate part of the worlds population again. So we fight, to keep this from happening again. It is our duty as human beings to not sit idly by and watch whole groups of people be massacred.

ABSOLUTELY, Not Iraq, WWII was necessary, Afghanistan, Revolutionary war, Any time you are attacked you have the right to respond ie: pearl harbor, 9/11, It unfortunate though that it always has to resort to war because of mans intolerance to man. You would think mankind would be tired of fighting and would want to live in peace. I don't get all this hatred and intolerance in the world today.

World War 2 was a necessary war. And that's the last necessary war the United States has been involved in.

without a doubt, 9/11 only served as a pretext to the wars. 9/11 was an inside job. This is proven, please do the research. WW2, even though we knew Pearl Harbor was going to be bombed was a necessary war, but ever since wars have been about American imperialism.

I am not anti-war entirely there are times like Pearl harbor that caused a righteous war. When Germany decided to get more real estate or kill a beautiful people off that too was righteous.

War is never justified, war is never necessary. The causes of war can always be prevented. If only everyone could be selfless there would be no problems. If only everyone could just take one step back and put their pride aside there would be no wars. If only everyone could get rid of religion. And if only it were possible.

When an actual country itself makes an attack or attempts to make an attack on U.S. soil or on an allied nation. What you have to realize is that perhaps we should have taken military action, but certainly not against Iraq or Afghanistan.

Yes, in real defense of American, not in some ego trip for an aging child who was never qualified to be a president of anything except maybe Toast Masters.
