Dude, time is a reference that we use to compare the rate of changes in different things that we see in our life everyday. Its a scale, not something that is real, like meter for length.
Well, if you are still not satisfied, then if you ask me I'll say that
'The Big Bang' theory is the most earliest time that we can think of, so here is a likn that will keep you busy for a while.
Peace out.

Time never "Started". Time existed before anything. It existed before big bang theory, it existed before God, it has alway existed. Humans put numbers on it, eventually. But the basic idea of time is impossible to imagine because it will continue to go on for ever in both directs of apat and future.

Well, according to Einstein, time is a dimension, just like the 3 physical dimensions. Therefore, time started at the Big Bang, just like the physical dimensions did.

At the instant the big bang started. Before that all dimensions including time were amalgamated into a single medium.

Time never started.
It's always been there, forever and ever and so on...
Truth is we'll never know.
Because even if we found a way to 'travel through time', we'd still not be able to go back as far as time would have started.

Yes, both concepts are equally fantastic. But perhaps our little brains did not evolve to truly understand such abstracts as time.

It is uncomprehensible to decide when time began. It may have began prior to the creation of our universe. That is what makes the fact that we live so awe-inspiring. It is the question, "Who made nothing?"

I believe it was like 10-25 billion years ago but I'm not sure, You'll have to find out when living things like bacteria were first appeared. And how old the oldest rock on the Planet is.
