go to AOL and then MUSIC they have all the new CD's you can listen to, videos, XM radio,,,and lots of others.

I use the following: yahoo music,
aol music (usually has upcoming CDs to listen to the entire album),
singingfish.com (you have to look up the artist but they will pull up almost every song, the only thing some my only be 30 seconds while others are the full song),
myspace (the only thing that sucks about this is that you can't always find the aritist you are looking for and they only have 4 songs on the webpages. But a lot of times you can check out the artists webpage).

try a radio.... or going to a bar or pub.... or find a person who can play guitar, piano, or any other insturment. The world is full of free music. If you are still stuck, ride an elevator. Or, for country folk, get mom to hum a tune for you. Grain elevators don't play much music these days.

if you have yahoo or aol there is a music player in the messenger you can listen to for free.
