When it comes to race relations in America it seem no one wants to bring up the ovlious. As if to admit that Jim Crow is still in the house nullifies the notion that America is one big melting pot, a big extended family where everyone gets along. When the truth is that as soon as you get Jim Crow to the lobby, some one always takes him back up stairs. But everyone ignores it. To even mention him you risk being labled a rasist. It is like having a guest at a party slumped in his chair, eyes rolled in their sockets. A Glock 9mm loosely held in his hands, and half his brains decorating the patio door. It is not rocket science what happend, but people keep saying "oh, he is just taking a nap" Does it scorch the tongue that much to admit what is seen, not everywhere, but too many places?

It doesn't scorch my tongue. Racism is alive and well in the United States of America. And yet it is hard to deny that there are many people who come from racist families who have refused to perpetuate the cycle and participate in prejudice and hatred on account of race. That is, racism still thrives, but things are changing in some corners.
