I have been with RE/MAX for over 10 years. The company is great and what you get out of it is what you invest. Strong on technology and yes there are fee's, but every franchise is going to have fee's and if your a top producer, RE/MAX is the way to go.

Well I haven't joined RE/MAX but I did interview with them because I heard good things about the brokerage and was searching my options before I joined. To tell you the truth I noticed nothing real different from any other brokerage. I did not choose them after the broker told me all the fees I'd be paying initially and then monthly. Ouch to my wallet! Especially when I was a new agent and had no business lined up or security of it. Although everyone will claim their brokerage is the best and hey, maybe to them it is, I ended up going with Exit Realty. I had not heard too much of them but when I interviewed with the broker and saw what they offered in comparison to other brokerages I was sold. I've been with them ever since and to date have not seen another brokerage with better options. Seriously, I STARTED with the best split, least initial costs and 0 monthly costs, plus the ability to get 401k and insurance. In addition I get residuals. Find someone who can do better, I haven't. You asked about RE/MAX and I wish you luck if you go with them but if you have questions about Exit, please call me or email me and I'd love to tell you more. Wish you luck!

I have a very good friend who joined RE/MAX and he is very happy. They are a really big company and have branches all over the place. Once you become an agent to can join any one of their offices .. each one is an independently owned franchise so things may vary from office to office..
Good luck!
