Hopefully someone can answer my question. For the past few days my side has been really hurting. My left side below my hip going around and to my back. I feel like it might be from constipation, and I hear that is a symptom of pregnancy. I have been eating my normal diet too, so its weird. I think it is to early for me to test, so I have to wait. Ugh the suspense is killing me!!!

You could have a UTI. If you don't take care of it, it could become a kidney infection. That HURTS. I had one and I had no idea what it was. I thought I pulled a muscle in my side or back.

However, when I was about eleven weeks pregnant, I started getting really bad back pain like that, too. I would suggest just going to the doctor -- get a blood test to check for pregnancy because it's the quickest and most acccurate (fool-proof, actually). If it comes up negative, then talk to your doc about the other possible causes of your side pain. Good luck.

Could be muscular pain. My daughter is 14 and her left side in the same location has hurt her today. Ibuprophen helped her. If it continues you might want to see your doctor. Pregnancy doesn't affect you in that way, that soon. Best wishes if it's what your trying for.

Maybe you slept wrong or you got hurt and didn't even notice it. I don't think pregnancy would affect your back this early in the pregnancy, if in fact you're pregnant. Good luck!
