Been tortured, didn't break. All too often, people under torture confess, only to make the torture stop. I refused to give those enemies that vicroty. Better to die than to let an enemy have success.

Course you didn't specify if it was physical torture, or psychological torture. Most pople would be more likely to break to prevent harm to someone else, rather than break from being hurt themselves.

You fail to grasp that many who are tortured can sing all they want, they are going to die anyway!

Did you ever wonder why there were fewer enlisted POW's in Vietnam than officers, even though they were captured more often?

The NVA didn't take prisoners!
