sometimes you just have to give it a shot. There is always the risk of making a fool of yourself but you shouldn't think of it that way. You should think of it as a chance to start something that could be really great. If she happens to end up being straight after you approach her she should only take it as a compliment. Most Lesbians i know hate it when a guy hits on them. i think it's fantastic and take it as a compliment like it should be. You will only know if she is straight or not if you try. Life is full of experiences my dear even if she is only curious it can't hurt to try. Good luck hunny!

Well...let's see. If she's straight, but you think she is curious, perhaps, you could strike up a conversation with her. Do What I do sometimes. Pretend you're doing a 'survey' for something. Or you read an article on 'curious' people. See if you can get her interested in the topic and see what she says. Sometimes you just have to create ways of getting the answers you want. Maybe if she's curious, but she can't find someone she trusts to try it out with, you can let her know that she can trust you. :) That's my problem actually. Being curious, but not having anyone to trust in the matter of 'experimenting.' Good luck, Sweetie.

If you don't approach her, you will never know. But, if she is straight you will risk offending her, but either way you will not be making a fool of yourself. Maybe you can ask around to see if anyone knows anything about her.

Just tell her:
"Girl, I got a laffy, but I want your taffy!"

No, seriously, does she know that your gay? If not, let it be known but in a subtle way. Also, try to bring up gay subjects like same-sex marriage or gays adopting children. try to talk to her more and get a sense of how she feels about gays, and you should get your answer.

I have this same problem, but the girl I like is a co-worker that works a different shift, and everytime I get around her I freeze up and start ignoring her.

Drop little hints. If she seems to buy into them then drop bigger ones. Invite her for coffee just like you would anyone else. See how it goes. The body language will give it away.

hell who am i kidding. I am in the same boat and will be reading your other answers.
