Yes. But that's what the politicians are hoping for. And then they hope you'll just go blindly back to the polls and vote them back into office. Congress has a 97% re-election rate. It's criminal! You have to weed through the BS and make an educated choice.

It usually disgusts and frustrates me, more than anything.
Media moguls who focus on the entertainment (vs. news) value of current events, and how certain events are chosen to get more coverage (rather than deserve to get more coverage), that overhwhelms me, because as consumers, we have had little control over what's reported and how.
