Every where I look,(magazine articles etc) it is always said that the majority dream in monotone, but my dreams are always in full colour.

Color. Black and white is for Bogart movies. Our eyes see color, so why sould our dreams be in black and white?
Magazines and other articles are probably using information that's old and outdated, or just plain false. They make it sound like there's a rash of people having dreams with very little color or no color at all! Odd, isn't it?

yes i believe we do considering I remember dreams I've had in vivid color. Try to remember the colors in specific dreams and you may recall :) The only way we could know for sure would be to actually visually monitor someones dream (which would be awesome cool) but other than that since we only have memories of our dreams ...not replays of the dreams them selves there may be room for debate. Thuis reminds me of the question of wheather dogs see in color or black and white. I believe the study found that they do see color. who knows....if we learned all the answers then we would have no questions :) the dogs eye is less sophisticated than the human eye...and the human brains likely function is to phathom ideas etc. so with that nature of sophistication in mind I think the likely answer is yes. gl ;) rock on..

When I dream, I dream, with some dreams being more vivid than others, rather vaguely unless I notice a specific color or am meant to, it doesn't make much of an effect. But if I do notice it they color is great and bright like technicolor.

All my dreams are in full color. They always have been. Most people do dream in black and white. We are rare.

Technically, we can't dream in color, since colors are what we see, and we don't see when we sleep.

I bet people who are daltonian see only the colors they can see, because that is all the brain was able to register.

I guess it depends what kind of imagination you have, my dreams are almost always in colour unless there is a sense of mystery

my most realistic dreams, after a loved one died, were full color, full sensory, and MUCH more real than what I was doing while awake. This lasted 5 years.
