I was thinking earlier about my past... I took LSD one time over 5 years ago.. just once. I did it with my 2 friends at the time. Thay had done it 2 time before, it was my first. We all took 2 hits each. Since I had never done any other illegal drug before, I didnt know what to expect. While I definately did feel the effects and you could define my behavior as crazy, I always knew that I was tripping and that any paranoid thought in my head was from the LSD and nothing more. I was sitting there w/ my friends and they were going nuts. I had to tell them that they were only tripping and all the things that they thought or saw were not real and that there was nothing to worry about. So even though it was my first time, I ended up playing babysitter. Being the first time I took any psychotropic drug of any sort, and the amount I took, which was considered strong, why wasnt I freaking out like my friends? Just curious....

A good friend of mine smoked pot pretty regularly in college. Once he got some laced with acid but wasn't told! He had a bad trip and it lasted a longer period than most. He had reoccurring trips for years even though he never touched it agian. He almost lost touch with reality and was scared because he never knew when it would hit him again. He was a very intelligent young man but it messed him up for years which took a toll on his future and he never reached hsi earlier potential. He cooks for ppl in an aids home instead of being something great!It is scary to think about today's drugs and how so many ppl make up their own using all kinds of weird products to get high on.Our country and children are suffering so much because of the drugs now!

Everyone reacts to things differently. Some people also have a lower tolerance and some have a higher tolerance. I know a girl that can take 1/4 of an ecstasy tablet and get messed up. I tried weed before and I didn't feel anything the first 2 times. Everyone is different.

I honestly have no idea. But I can tell from just smoking pot when I was younger that you make what you want out of it. Yes there were times that I would be all crazy, but because other people and I wanted to "have fun too". Most of the time I too had to play babysitter. Its just like telling yourself not to drink, not to do drugs, not to steal. Why can some people tell themselfs that and not do it. while others wish not to do it but just cant stop. I guess we are just smarter then others. lol.

Because everyone is different and it takes different amounts to reach the same effect in different people, and since you did take you may have been more out of it then you realize. and some people with just the mear suggestion will act as though there blitz beyond comprehension

You have a stronger sense of reality than your friends. As such, you were able keep a rational sense while under the influence. Also you were expecting the results you got. Had you taken a higher quantity, you may not have been able to keep your wits about you.

Everyone is different, drugs have different effects on people. It's like that with any drug let it be illegal or legal.

Acid affects everyone differently. Maybe your hit was from a different batch
