Stone Cold Steve Austin.
He was "Sheriff" once upon a time when Goldberg was around and Triple-H was champion. He did an awesome job writing tickets and making sure people didn't cheat in matches.
The week before the huge Elimination chamber match between Triple-H, Goldberg,Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and Kevin Nash, there was a match between Goldberg and Orton. When Flair interfered, Stone Cold stopped him and became an impromtu referee.
So, Stone Cold can handle pressure and defeat cheaters. So, if Umaga brings a chair, Stone cold would probably give him a stunner. Or if melina interfered, Stone Cold would re-start the match this time with Melina outta the building. Or if Big Show brings his pompous self into the building, Stone Cold would as always send him packing.
That's why Stone Cold deserves to be GM. He's not scared of anyone and ratings would go sky-high if he returned.

Any of the already named guys would be great. There have been a bunch of suggestions, such as Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Eric Bischoff, Steve Austin, all the others already mentioned, and of course, Coach.
Jonathan Coachman seems to be the acting gm for the moment. I really expected this issue to be taken care of already, but it's gone a long time now without appointing anyone new to the position.
I wonder if they're holding out so Stephanie can have the job back...

Ric Flair would be superb coz he's such an evil monkey,
Eric should come back coz i miss him
Paul Heyman ( great g.m)
Stephanie (as much as id like to do away with her and take her place as trippers girl,mwahahaha...i have to say she was an awesome g.m)
Me...although not an active wrestler...i am however awesome
Mick Foley but he could flip from being one character to another and cause all sorts of confusion and stir it up with the wrestlers so i think that would be quite fun :0) Have a nice day...

Wikipedia isn't a solid website for information. the considered having Ric aptitude via fact the hot accepted supervisor for WWE uncooked and WWE Smackdown isn't a approaches-fetched in any respect in my opinion. On a scale from one to ten, I anticipate this 'rumor' to be a seven.

Chances are that they will pick Dusty Rhodes. I would like to see Mick Foley because he is entertaining as hell. Maybe a shocker would be Kevin Nash that way he could screw DX and set up the NWO/DX fued. Basically anybody but Coach
