There is no reason why anyone in their right mind would even consider this. No matter what type of a childhood you had, and no matter how good or bad it was, when you grow up, then you can walk away.. I would never think of killiing one of my parents. I had it rough too, but I always would say: When I get big I am going to leave and never look back. " If I was backed into a corner and with the options you gave us, then I would ask the gunman to take me. Spare my family, and I would volunteer to be the choosen one to die. But how would you know that after the gunman would do you in, that they would continue to take your whole family. Chances are that 99 out of 100, that this heathen would finish off your whole family. Good grief, Stop thinking **** like this. It is not good. My parents are both gone and they died of old age. Never once did I think of killing them or anyone. I miss them terribly. Please don't think about stuff like this.

Not that I could do that to either one, but based purely on the fact that my mom has Alzheimer's, at some point it would be a blessing to put her out of her misery (her biggest fear was always becoming some old lady who just sits there and stares off into space...now that's where she is headed).

First, I think this is a sick question. I loved both my parents very much and had a good childhood. To even think of such a thing shows a person has some sort of mental problem or has really had a terrible childhood. God help them.

Ok, this is a completely disturbed question. Why are you even asking questions like this?? Sounds like you need a shrink. Even if a gun was too my head, I would attempt to get away. I mean, can people really be that selfish???????????

Why so morbid?
But anyways, I would take the shot for them, and not make a decision. That's what a family does for each other.
