I was just watching this report on KTLA / The CW Los Angeles, and they were reporting on this convention in L.A. for people who are have gay/lesbian feelings and the host of the convention is some Christian organization that aims to help gay or lesbian people (especially teens) realise they are "confused" and it supposdly helps them return to "normal" status of being straight after so many sessions.

Anyways the reporter interviewed this one mother with her teen son, and she said she realised he was gay when he started wanting to get more Abercrombie polos and American Eagle shirts, ect. Anyways, it turned out he was in a gay relationship or whatever.

So my question is, are guys that wear those clothes actually gay? Because my boyfriend wears alot of AE and A&F clothes, and I'm wondering if he's gay and hiding it or something?

Clothes do not make the man or woman.
Can't tell a book by it's cover
Getting the hint?
I know this gal who wears tee shirts w/ sleeves rolled up, guy jeans, work boots, smokes cigars, and if she gently slaps you on the back your teeth go into next week-does this make her a lesbian?
NO! She has 3 wonderful kids and a loving husband that turns her into the sweetest thing you ever saw.
By the way one of her kids is gay and if she hears you calling him names etc. it will be more then your teeth that take that trip.

Sweetheart the answer to your question is no. My son wore Abercrombie and Fitch because he is a clothes horse, he loves to look good. The greatest thing that ever happened to me was when he got old enough to by his own clothes. Now his wife complains cause they are so expensvie. Gay is the last thing my son is, and the woman who said that, she was just making an excuse, she knew for a long time that her son was gay. A mother knows these things usually way before the kid ever comes out. So, enjoy that your BF takes pride in his appearance and quit worrying about things like this.

Oh yes, it is the Official Uniform of the Gay Kingdom, so look out.
Any more stupid questions?
Sorry - didn't realise this was a SERIOUS question.
I didn't realise the clothes we wear are what makes us gay or otherwise. I thought that was a stereotypical thing I'd generally associate with ignorance.
There is no definitive GAY characteristic that we all share - how is that?

I wouldn't base anybodys orientation on what kind of clothes they wear. If I like somethin, I'm gonna wear it. I don't care what it is, how much it costs, if i feel comfortable in it, thats all that counts. Now if he starts dressing up like Tim Curry in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I'd be worried.

In order to get serious answers you have to ask serious questions...really!!! wearing AE and a&F clothes makes you gay....I guess if you wear Lands End or LLBean clothing your into bestiality...and if you have too many towels you wanna have sex with Martha Stewart.
Why would you watch such trash on TV?

Nope. It probably was the way he was wearing them. Pinks and pastels. But no. Just makes less money in the pocket though.
