So this girl that I have been friends my whole life, she is one of my best friends, I've wanted to be more than friends for a really long time, so i tried to ask her to homecoming, but she said she couldn't but didn't give me an explaination, this was yesterday, so now that she said that, my other friend, who is a girl, kind of explained why she said no, she likes someone else and wants to go to homecoming with them, i'm cool about that, but it tore me up inside, and she said that she said she just wanted to be friends, i guess just for right now, how can i show her that we can be more? Please answer

well, if you are serious to her, then first, try to get to know about the boy. do whatever she would expect, and care for her. dont get irritated often and stand as a supporting pole for her. girls like caring boys, instead of handsome and oversmart ones.
