I think with the current debts your generation is about to inherit from the Bush administration doesn't necessarily make your future brighter. Higher taxes in order to eliminate this debt will make paying for necessities to live, will only make things worse.
Unless you manage to get a government that eliminates taxes.

I think that with the advances in technology, it can be brighter than the generation before. However, although technology brings many comforts, I don't believe that it gives us lasting happiness.
