Just before going out, put some eye drops (the kind that say take the red out) and it will take the redness out of the pimple and at least you can cover it with makeup. And the toothpaste thing works too. I have a friend who is a professional model, but still a teenager and when he gets a pimple before a photo shoot, he goes to his hairdresser and they like inject something into the pimple that makes it go away. I don't exactly know the details, but I have been with him when he has had it done and it works really really good. He says it hurts like heck though.

THIS METHOD IS FOOLPROOF: Put a damp, hot rag over the area for a few minutes (this will speed up the healing process and open up your pores), and then cover it with regular toothpaste (NOT the whitening or gel kind) This will dry out the pimple and it should be shrunk by morning. Then cover with a little foundation and no one will ever know.

benzoil paroxide is an excellent choice and show help it overnight, but it takes miracles for acne to disapear overnight. the benzoil will make it a lot smaller and less red and be sure to use a lot of it. most of you over the counter blemish topicals contain bezoil paroxide just make sure it is on the active ingredients label.

I suggest you put ice on it,that'll bring down the swelling.Wash your face tonight, and if you have any clearasil apply it on the pimple.
It should be a bit better in the morning.

put toothpaste on it, white colgate type. It will help to calm the inflamation. And a little make-up never hurt!. Unless you are a guy, I guess...
