They played absolutely horrible for most of the game and have NO D whatsoever(allowing 37 and 47 points in the last 2 games). Will the ND hype machine continue to pump up this team? USC could hang 70 on this D

I agree about their offense, it's very good. At times they seem to score at will.

I'm not a USC fan, I actually dislike USC. I just know that they will kick the shat out of the domers.

Notre Dame still stinks. I would not consider it a huge win to win in the last couple minutes to a team that is not even in the top 25. Once Notre Dame plays a real team that will not choke like Michigan St. they will get destroyed. I am impressed by Brady Quinn though. I thought my predictions about him were coming true after the first quarter but he rebounded and had a rest of the game that deserves a player of the week award.

Becuase they are "everyone's" team, at least according to the media, which also considers them the greatest team in the country.

Reality is that the Irish got thumped by Michigan, who is clearly second-fiddle to Ohio State this year. And now they think a 3-point win over a mediocre Michigan State team is a big deal. ND would be middle of the pack in the Big 10 at best.

So true--but ND is still an independant university-so they only play bigger-well known schools. Without being in the Big 10 or pac 12 -they don't have to play cream-puff schools like the U of MN. the media should get up for the Irish because soo many of their graduates are spread thru-out the USA---its news!

I hear you, mediocre D, but they've got some playmakers. Plus, that offense is explosive enough that they can afford to give up a few points. I think they'll only wind up 7-4 or 8-3. Probably won't make it to a BCS bowl.

I have to admire the fact that they didn't give up when it looked impossible to even close the gap. As far as your beloved USC, they didn't look too impressive tonight against Arizona defeating them only 20-3. As you may recall, LSU defeated Arizona 45-3.

Because their quaterback is white and the coach is a fat bastard (who go lucky Tom Brady is a natural badass and has yet to prove himself on the college level)

because of the 2 touchdowns they scored in the last 7 mins and when they intercepted the ball in the last 3o seconds .

Because they're 'America's Team!!'

Even more so than Dallas.

Sick, isn't it?
