The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a geographical area in the Atlantic Ocean approximately triangular in shape and is famous for its supposed paranormal activities. The Bermuda Triangle's three corners are roughly defined by Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, giving it an area of nearly half a million square miles (1.2 million km²).
Paranormal Claims:
•"A significant number of ships and aircraft have disappeared under highly unusual circumstances."
•"Paranormal activity where the known laws of physics are violated."
•It has even been suggested that "extraterrestrial beings are responsible for some of the disappearances."
Despite popular belief, the United States Coast Guard and other agencies cite statistics indicating that the number of incidents involving lost ships and aircraft is no larger than that of any other heavily-travelled region of the world. While many of the alleged mysteries have proven not so mysterious or unusual upon closer examination, with inaccuracies and misinformation about the cases often circulating and recirculating over the decades,[2] many others still have no explanation.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle is an imaginary triangle whose three points are Miami, Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. For over thirty years it has been known for supposedly paranormal disappearances of boats and aircraft. Actually, despite several factors which should contribute to higher rates of accidents in the region, the Bermuda Triangle has been found to be no more statistically dangerous than other areas of the open ocean.

I remember hearing something about methane bubbles causing the water to change density (or something like that) and make a ship sink. I also remember the same theory being applied to the planes that have disappeared in that area, only instead of water, it's air. It changes the way the air flows back over the wings, I think.
Anyhoo, why can't some people just accept that there are some things on this planet and in this universe that aren't meant to be explained or even known? Who's to say where these pilots, sailors, fishermen and all their crafts have gone? Just because we can't find them, doesn't mean they aren't there.

Planes, boats, fishermen and others have mysteriously disappeared over the Bermuda Triangle. In WW2, a Naval fleet mysteriously disappeared while flying over it and, to this day, no one has found the remains of the fleet. Some speculate that is is related to the lost city of "Atlantis" somehow and/or has connections with aliens...Hope this helps

Well, I get so bored flying this UFO around by myself that I just whisk people up and we have a great big party going on. j/k

Seriously, the Bermuda triangle theory is shot out of proportion when it comes to ships and airplanes disappearing. A lot of them have been lost elsewhere too.

Science assumes large bubbles of methane gas are erupting from the sea floor, rising up, which could sink ships and cause mechanical failure.
