Just because a guy wants to be a woman doesn't always mean he's attracted to men. Some are just lesbians in the wrong body.

Like it or not people base most of their information on sexualities not their own on popular media written by people not involved in the lifestyle about which they're writing. Gender dysphoria, the feeling that you are in the wrong gendered body, is one of the least understood of alternate sexualities, and is certainly far too complex an issue to address in any meaning full way in the space available here. People pigeonhole because they are basically lazy, having figured out "Straight" and "Gay" they find it easier to stop there rather than acknowledge that the issue is more complex than that, and keep working. In my ideal world we would drop the labels completely and deal with everyone as individuals, but, sadly, I don't see that happening anytime soon, if ever.

I am aware that this is not an answer, but another question, and I might just have to post it as such later, but...
How does one define something like "Gay" for a person whose very gender tends to lack (or at least blur) definition? Is a Male to Female that has sex only with men gay? Or is the one that only has sex with women? Are Transsexuals bi-sexual by default with out even having sex with anyone?
