very simple
1. Draw a line segment AC.
2. bisect it at O
3. draw any line L passing AC thru O.
4. cut OB and OD from line l such that OB = OD.
5. Join ABCD, ABCD is a parallelogram

coz AO=CO & OB=OD, ie, AC & BD bisect each other at O, which is a property of a parallelogram

Draw two lines m and n which cross at point P. On line m find any two points A and B, one on either side of P, such that distance AP = distance BP. On line n find any two points C and D, one on either side of P, such that CP = DP. Notice that the distances used on the two lines do not have to be the same, that is, AP=BP does not have to be the same as CP=DP. Then ACBD is a parallelogram. This is true because the diagonals of a parallelogram always bisect one another.

Draw two parallel lines the exact same length, and then connect the ends of the lines with two more parallel lines. You should end up with something that looks like a leaning rectangle.

Build a square or rectangle and lean on it, or make 2 parallel lines cross 2 other parallel lines on the same plane.

draw 2 parallel lines with the same length then connect its ends with another pair of parallel lines. Just be sure that none of the interior angles is equal to 90 degrees..

Requirements-paper, scale, pencil.
