There's two great sources for researching literary agents. The first is the "Guide to Literary Agents" by the people at Writer's Market. It has extensive listings so that you can find someone who represents the kind of work that you do (you didn't even mention the genre of your book).

The next is Preditors and Editors. It's a great way to help you spot scams, and get recommendations on the good agents:

Purchase a copy of the book "Writer's Market." It lists contact information for: literary agents, script agents, book publishers, consumer magazines, trade, tech, professional journals, and scriptwriting, etc.

With your script, enclose a large, pre-addressed, stamped Kraft envelope (also known as a large brown envelope), for return of script to you.
