It doesn't mean anything. I have one on my lower back and it's there because I think it's a cute location for one. It's almost like asking what does a tattoo on an arm mean. It's just a location. For the guy above, who said it means that a girl is easy, get your head out of your ***. It's just a location and that's it.

I did at one time, but after a really bad motorcycle accident, the only thing left is the edge of some wings. And unless you saw the tattoo in its original state, you'd never guess what they were! I still have the one over my heart and on both arms, but the small cat on my left arm now looks like a bruise. It's really funny to get a tattoo when you weight close to 200lbs and then when you lose weight, the tattoo changes completely. ;-D

i dont have any tattoos not planing to get any either but if i ever did it would be on my lower back just a lil tatoo of say a dragon or sumthing.
i dont know if there's a reason for it.. its just a really cool place to have a tattoo.

The lower the tattoo the lower the girls morals.
The lower the tattoo is on the back, the more kinky she is, the more loose she is. This is from a tattoo artist from the Miami area that tattoos a lot of strippers beach goers in the Miami area.

I do not have a tattoo, but that would be my choice of where to get one because it is a large surface area and can hold a very elaborate tattoo. Also if a woman works in a conservative profession, this would be a place where she could conceal her tattoo during business hours. One day I might get a beautiful cascade of flowers tattooed there because I love pretty ink, not because I am "loose" or need to give anyone a message. You guys who want to accuse women of being loose or tramps, get over it. Sometimes we actually do things because they make US happy.

It means that's where they wanted their tattoo. They thought it was cute and gave guys a more of a reason to look at their butt. If you want to go by recent *false* definitions, it means she likes sex. But if you believe that, then every guy with his left ear pierced is bi and if he has both pierced, he's gay. Guys/girls make up these asinine rumors. Key words: "MAKE UP"
