As i swallowed a piece of meat i forgot to chew well and then as it went in.. i felt a tightness in my upper back and then it went in but i was in shock.. that happened 4 hours ago..and i still think i feel something in my upper back.. But is this possible to actually feel things in your upper back from swallowing or am i just scared and imagining things?

yes it is because if you have pain in your esophagus, you feel it in your back..spasms, cancers, and swallowing stuff wrong...take some anti-inflammatory pills, like Advil or something, you should see improvement by tomorrow.

Try drinking some warm liquid, tea, water with some jello in it to flavor it, whatever you like. It does hurt and taking something for the pain will help. It is not still there, it just caused such irritation that it feels that way. If you had a muscle relaxer it might help even more or warm compress. good luck.

That piece of meat may be stuck in your esophagus. Have you had anything else to eat or drink since then? Try eating a piece of bread and see if that doesn't dislodge it. If it's still like that in the morning go see your doctor, you may have to have it removed.
