I have a crush on this mormon boy I work with. I'm pretty sure he's interested in me and would really like to ask him out. My fear is that I'll be rejected for not being mormon. So can mormons date non-mormons?

I am 17 and have recently been dumped for not being a christian. that's why i fear being rejected for not being a mormon.

Yes, mormons can date non-mormons if the parents are okay with it. But, you don't want to get involved in a deep relationship with a Mormon unless you want to get sucked into their very insidious religion. If I were you, I'd go to www.whatismormonism.com and read up on their beliefs. This is one area in which it pays to be informed!

I am mormon so hopefully I can answer your question. First of all mormons can date non-mormons. I have before I found my husband and got married. Some mormons perfer to date just mormons because some people say you date who you marry. but not all are like that it is his personal choice. Most mormons do not date before they are sixteen. I am not sure how old you two are. Talk to him and see what happens. Dont forget most Latter Day Saint (mormon) guys go on missions after High School and may not want to get involved with a girl . I think so... I know Mormons have strict dating rules, but it varies a bit. But at least you'll have a great way to ask him out "So can Mormon's date non-Mormons?" and then poof, perfect pick up line, and even if he says no he wont't know you were asking him out. Look at the glass as half full.

I've dated a couple of mormons before. If he likes you, then religion shouldn't get in the way like that

Are u attending another church? I'm asking this because there're some big possibilities that u might not like their believes and way of living. l would recommend u .... try to obtain all the information about this type of religion. After u finish all ur research, take a deep decision. Good luck!!

how old are you/him? it totally depends on the situation and your standards. and will you be willing to open up to his church, cause it means alot to him most likey. i am a mormon and i am dateing a non morman, but this guy has great standards and he goes to church with me sometimes, and understands how important it is to me....would u?
