When I was 22 I didn't think so.

Now I know I was.

A great time of life! Young enough to still "do" things...old enough to actually "do" them.

You're a man and you are young, but it doesn't mean you're not at all capable of taking care of yourself. Don't listen to those folks who say you're still a BABY. You're not. you're an adult who's "supposed" to be responsible and mature. That person who said you need to grow up is wrong, this would only be right if you were immature. So it actually depends on your maturity level and most of the time 22 yr olds are more mature than 15 year olds. They have ALOT more experience by this time! In fact 7 years worth!

and yes I've also heard that it depends on how you were raised, but if you're talking about generalities, the 22 year old wins greatly over the teen in terms of experience. I also don't know why that lady got annoyed with your question, there was nothing annoying about it.

My last words are that you're a young man, now would it be better to be considered as an old man? I didn't think so.

It would depend on a person, some people are 25 and they act like 5 year olds, or also 15 year old can be smarter than 22 year old, I guess it all would depend on how you were raised and on education level, all people judge by looking at themselves, but it's impossible to tell if 22 yr old is young or not,all people are different, think about it in a different way, if some people live up to 100 years and person is only 22 is that person young or old? 22% out of 100%, not even half, so yeah 22 would be considered as a young man

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away. And at 22 you have a lot more energy to do so than someone at 32. Yes you are still a young, young man.

This question annoyed me allot. I have sat here for five minutes ....thinking and telling myself not to write what first came to my mind.

I'm OK now.

Is a 22 yr. old man still a young man?

The average life span is now about 78 to 80 years old. You have a good 55 to 60 years left.

YES, you are are still young. No, you are not totally a man yet.

You still need to mature, to educate yourself, to start your career,
to start a family, to begin to form the legacy you will leave to your family and the world.

So, stop worrying about 'your question' and get going ...you have allot to do and 'times a wasting.'

Oh certain and for decades yet. solid grief we may be able to stay for over 100 years why waste all those solid days being previous. and as a footnote* At 22 one has infrequently even been a guy yet so positioned a carry on that previous! O_-

A 22 year old is STILL a young man.

The number of years is not a factor to consider someone young or old. but the way it manage life situation, if one have fun or not.

One can be 16 and be considered as "old" if we are bitter.
