okay we have thos headsets at work...and i keep talking over him so he got mad and said whoever that asshole is whoever keeps talking over me better stop!...and I was the one who talked over him which i didnt mean to...i just dont listen on the conversation to see if there done..and then he stop talking over me...im gonna break that ******* talkie if u keep doing that...should he of said that and is that legal? i dont think he should of said that it that language what should i do?

it is illegal to use any threatening language in the workplace.
you should inform your supervisor.

grow up, build a bridge, and get over it.

the guy was probably having a bad day and you were being a bit rude by talking over him. everybody has bad days once in a while and you just need to ignore him.

was he right? no. but he was probable peeved and doesn't have good conflict management skills to deal with situations like this more appropriately.

here in the US, we have a thing called "the first amendment".. look it up. people can say whatever they want. the f'-word, despite what you're parents might have told you, is NOT illegal to say.
