I have a Hamster, Mr. Coochie Bear. =]
He's a year and some odd months old. Old for a hamster yet still healthy.
I understand hamsters can get tumors when they're old and are likely to get them a great percent of the time.
Is it possible for one to recieve a tumor on its nose?

Or could my hamster just have a wart?

yes and it is soooooo sad. just a warning;

if you see him looking cold with a greenish looking face/ nose
wrap it in a warn balnket
its nose may start bleeding. whatever you do, dont freak out
it may fall out of your hands for some odd reason. they have these weirdish jumps.
be prepared for anything

i wish you the best.

I'm happy that you're concerned about the welfare of your hamster. I would suggest taking it to your local vet. He or she can tell you for sure as they would have to see it. They may even have to do a biopsy of the area to see if it is cancerous or not. It's hard to answer the question without seeing the animal. Please see your vet though, a.s.a.p. and good luck to your hamster :)

I would definately take her to a vet ASAP. You really seem to care and thats great. I would rather know for sure by going to a vet, then keep wondering.Plus you want to know if the poor thing is suffering or not. Good luck,I hope it works out.
